Artist Road Trip: Tacoma's Museum District - Northwest Art & Glass
Tacoma WA

Local artists Trish Harding and Deb McCunn are hitting the road again--this time our destination is the Tacoma Museum District to visit the Tacoma Art Museum, Museum of Glass, and the stunning 500-foot Chihuly Bridge of Glass. We'll begin our day leaving WCC promptly at 8:00 AM and traveling by coach furnished by our day-trip partner, Bellair Charters. We'll explore Tacoma Art Museum first with its emphasis on Northwest and Western artists, then walk over Dale Chihuly's famous Bridge of Glass. After lunch on your own at one of the many eateries nearby, we'll head to the Museum of Glass where gorgeous exhibits meet a dynamic learning environment. You'll see visiting artists working on their glass creations and learn firsthand how it's all done. We'll depart for home at 3:30 PM. All museum fees are included in course fee; registration deadline is March 3 at noon. No refunds or credits issued after deadline.
