Motorcoach Drivers

- Currently hiring for full-time drivers with flexible schedules

The ideal driver candidate is motivated, reliable and friendly with a heart to serve customers on daily round trips from Bellingham to Sea-Tac Airport or on custom charters locally and regionally. If you have a great driving record, love people and a "safety first" attitude, we are looking for you! As a driver, you’ll receive classroom and hands on training, as well as be prepared for a successful, fulfilling career in transportation.

Compensation: Training Wage: $13.10 per hour. Hourly Wage: $17.25 to $18.30 – Medical Benefits with PTO available

Reservation Agent

Our reservation agents interact daily with walk-in and phone customers, assisting with each individual’s travel arrangements and helping solve problems with a smile.

Dispatcher

-Currently hiring 1 full-time, day shift dispatcher

Are you super organized with extraordinary communication skills? Do you see the possible when faced with the impossible? If so, apply those skills in the role of a Dispatcher at Bellair Charters & Airporter Shuttle. As a Dispatcher you will be in the heart of the action where no two days are the same.

In this role, you’ll be the conduit for distributing constantly flowing information as quickly and accurately as possible to our drivers, guests and company decision-makers. This position is fast-paced and relies on a dispatcher’s multi-tasking and prioritizing skills to keep things running smoothly each day. You’ll be responsible for knowing the disposition, location and status of all company vehicles at all times – at least 30 vehicles are out on the roads at any given time – maintaining communication with drivers, problem-solving breakdowns, meeting customer needs and much more. Just when you think you’ve seen it all, you’ll have a new opportunity to resolve!

Assistant Driver Manager

-Currently hiring 1 full-time Assistant Driver Manager

Do you have a passion for safety? Seeing others excel in their jobs? If so, we want to talk to you! As the Assistant Driver Manager your first priority will be ensuring all our drivers and off-site managers are trained to have a safety-first mindset. You will manage the company leads and off-site staff that have safety responsibilities, so support the company’s safety standards. This includes training and evaluation of all drivers in the process of coaching, expectations training and vehicle upgrades.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Build rapport with drivers and contribute to positive work environment
  • Communicate with all employees clearly and in a professional manner, exceptional listening skills required
  • Set the standard and exemplify the expectations that drivers must meet
  • Before a driver can drive solo, test to the standard that is set
  • Must be organized and able to see a task to completion
  • Coordinate Expectations Classes with Human Resources Department for potential new drivers
  • Regularly review driving skills of drivers in all departments by reviewing their chips and conducting ride-a-longs
  • Possess a CDL B with Passenger Endorsement in order to be a last resort back-up driver
  • Oversee and manage driver reviews by ensuring reports are sent monthly
  • Back-up duties to Training Manager include training for bus qualifications and upgrades as well as qualifying bus detailers in coaches.


Experience:

  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Three to seven years related experience
  • Transportation background is a plus
